Bohra Hub ("we", "our", "us") operates the Bohra Hub mobile application. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text) when you create an account.
- Profile information: your role (customer or shopper), city, and shopper specialties if you register as a shopper.
- Requests and quotes: the shopping requests you post, quotes you send or receive, and order details needed to fulfil them.
- Messages: chat messages exchanged between customers and shoppers about their orders.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card numbers — Stripe handles all payment details under its own privacy policy.
- Device information: push notification tokens so we can alert you about quotes, order updates, and messages.
How we use your information
- To operate the marketplace: matching requests with shoppers, processing quotes and payments, and enabling in-app chat.
- To send you notifications about your orders, quotes, and messages.
- To keep the platform safe, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
- To improve the app based on aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns.
Third-party services
We use the following services to operate the app. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Cloudflare — network routing and performance.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging / Apple Push Notification service — push notifications.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Data retention
We keep your account and order data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we must retain records for legal or financial reasons (such as payment history).
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting us at the email below.
Children
Bohra Hub is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
